More Blogging, More Love!

Hey, my sexy readers!

These past couple of weeks I’ve been thinking a lot about doing what I’ve always wanted with this blog: bringing YOU more romance, more sexy fun, and most importantly, getting to know you better each day.

So why the heck haven’t I been doing it?

Welp… it’s a long story, but the short version is, I just realized I have ADHD! Turns out, most writers and creative types do.

Go figure.

(The crazy eyes in the writer pin up over here are all too accurate…)

But the beautiful thing about knowing is that now I’m working on the troublesome bits (not blogging, being disorganized, and releasing stories later than I promise), and harnessing the good (having an awesome, fast, sexy brain!).

Yes, Delilah’s on drugs to help her focus, and she doesn’t care who knows it!

But the part that’s awesome for YOU, my darling readers is that you can not only expect more consistency from me in terms of accurate release dates (Thank God, Delilah. I Mean, Seriously…) BUT now I am going to bring you more.

More what, you ask?

MORE LOVE! MORE FUN! MORE SEXY BITS for your everyday life!

But in order to do it, I need some help from you!

I want to hear YOUR love stories!

Yep, that’s right. I want to hear your anecdotes about the loves of your life, whether it’s that little thing your partner does that always gives you the warm-and-fuzzies, or something you do for someone else, I want to hear about it.

Each week I want to feature one of YOUR real life love stories, so please email me at Delilah Fawkes at Gmail dot com if you’ve got a tale to share.

The thing that makes this job so special is learning more about you and bringing you those moments in your day where you can lean back, sigh, and remember that love exists and happily ever afters happen every day.

So share your happilies with me, and add to the love!

What made you feel loved this week? Share in the comments below!

More coming soon on this blog, so stay tuned…

  1. Hey there, Delilah! Wow, I am loving your blog and your recent posts are awesome! I thought it was very interesting you mention ADHD. How did you finally realize you probably have it? I'd love to read more about your experience because I'm pretty sure I have it, too haha. Much ❤ from a fellow erotic writer—Bella

  2. Hi, Bella! 😀 I'm so glad you're enjoying the new posts! I'm loving writing them, and am so, so glad I found out what was up with me so I can Be All I Can Be, as it were. It really has been a life changing couple of weeks.I might do a blog post on it because I bet a ton of adult women have it and don't realize, because our symptoms tend to fly under the radar, but basically I was anxious all the time and had a constant stream of negative "chatter" inside my head that never shut up. I told my husband and he said I sounded like him. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD.From there, I checked out the book DELIVERED FROM DISTRACTION, by Dr. Hallowell, which is a GREAT read and resource if you're wondering if you have it. I highly recommend it. It's got stories, test questions, and puts ADHD into the very positive light it should be shown in. It's a different kind of brain, but a very powerful, exciting one, once you know how to control some of the more negative aspects. It's like lightning in a bottle–dangerous if you don't know how to harness it, but awesome once you do!I really recommend checking it out and then finding someone in your area who specializes in ADHD to try to get a diagnosis. Be persistant if you think you have it. Not everyone's an expert, and women get overlooked with this particular thing. Good luck, hon!!
